Stoneridge is exhibiting at ProMat 2025, taking place from March 17 to 20, 2025, at McCormick Place in Chicago, USA. At this event, we will highlight our MirrorEye Camera Monitor System and Orlaco Vision Systems, specifically designed to enhance safety and productivity within the forklift and material handling sectors.
At ProMat 2025, visitors will experience our innovative camera solutions firsthand, including the Digital Mid-Mast View System. This high-resolution camera-monitor system is specifically designed for forklifts and reach trucks, providing operators with a clear view of their immediate surroundings. By enhancing visibility, the system significantly improves workplace safety and boosts operational efficiency. Its no-drill, no-weld installation ensures seamless integration onto forklifts and reach trucks.
We also provide a sneak preview of our upcoming E-CFMC camera, part of the Digital ForkView system. The E-CFMC camera is mounted inside the forklift forks and housed in a robust steel enclosure. This unique design protects the camera during pallet and load handling, while delivering crystal-clear, high-definition imaging for pinpoint accuracy and smoother operations.
New EMOS II Ethernet Camera
Stoneridge will showcase the upcoming EMOS II Ethernet camera, the latest innovation in our camera lineup. Building on the success of EMOS camera, the EMOS II delivers unmatched safety, efficiency, and performance. When paired with the new 10-inch ELED Monitor, the system forms the Digital MultiView solution, which enhances visibility and operational safety for heavy machinery operators. For additional safety assurance, the EMOS II and ELED Monitor integrate seamlessly with Orlaco’s RadarEye System. RadarEye uses Short-Range Detection (SRD) sensors to identify objects or individuals in the vehicle's vicinity, providing audio and visual alerts to prevent accidents.
SmartCAM: Object and Personnel Detection
At ProMat 2025, we’re also showcasing the advanced SmartCAM system. This intelligent smart camera actively identifies and tracks personnel within a worksite. When individuals are detected near the machine, the system issues clear visual alerts based on proximity, reducing operator fatigue and enhancing jobsite awareness. We’re currently fine-tuning a SmartCAM version tailored for the logistics industry. Stoneridge is currently developing a version specifically tailored for the logistics industry, and our team looks forward to discussing potential needs and requirements with visitors.
MirrorEye: Visibility for Forklift Applications
Our team will demonstrate the capabilities of Stoneridge’s MirrorEye Camera Monitor System at ProMat 2025. Designed as a state-of-the-art alternative to traditional mirrors, MirrorEye uses digital cameras and in-cab monitors to eliminate blind spots and deliver unmatched visibility for drivers. Widely adopted across the truck and bus industries in Europe and North America, MirrorEye enhances side and rearward views, improving situational awareness and safety. At ProMat, we will showcase how this advanced technology can benefit heavy machinery operators, including those using Reach Stackers and Empty Container Handlers. In challenging environments like container terminals, MirrorEye ensures optimized visibility, precise maneuvering, and safer operations.
