Optimal Positioning
The Mid-Mast View system is mounted on the mast crossbeam of the inner mast section. The driver can optimally position the truck because they have visibility on the forks after the machine's free lift. The camera system visualizes the area below the fork, providing the driver with a clear view of the beams while placing the pallet. The monitor allows the driver to immediately see if the beams are correctly positioned, enabling precise work. The camera system thus lowers the chance of accidents and damage to the forklift or goods, preventing downtime. The Mid-Mast View system is particularly suitable for reach trucks.
The Mid-Mast View camera system consists of a CPH camera, RLED monitor, and a dynamic cable. The ergonomically placed monitor allows the driver to look in a natural and comfortable way. This reduces strain on the neck and shoulder muscles, lowers the risk of sick leave, and simultaneously boosts productivity. The waterproof and shock-resistant system performs reliably under extreme conditions and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C / -40°F to +185°F, making it optimal even in cold storage environments.
In addition to Mid-Mast View, Stoneridge offers various alternative visibility systems for forklifts. Depending on the application, the driver's preference, and the type of forklift, choices include View-on-Forks, ForkView, or Digital Mid-Mast View.
